Magura Govt. Girls' High School
Magura Government Girls' High School is a school of Magura District which was established in 1903. The school was nationalized in 1970. History The school was established in 1903. After 67 years, the school was nationalized. Educational activities There are approximately 1200 students are reading in the school. 35 teachers are teaching the students in the institution. In 2018, the school led Magura District in terms of students scoring a GPA-5 on the Secondary School Certificate exams. Magura Sadar ( bn, মাগুরা সদর) is an upazila of Magura District in the Division of Khulna, Bangladesh. Geography Magura Sadar is located at . It has 50,041 households and a total area of 406.5 km2. Demographics According to the 1991 Bangladesh census, Magura Sadar had a population of 286925. Males constituted 51.41% of the population, and females 48.59%. The population aged 18 or over was 145,777. Magura Sadar had an average literacy rate of 29.6% (7+ years), compared to the national average of 32.4%. Magura ( bn, মাগুরা) is a district in south-western Bangladesh, situated 176 kilometers from Dhaka. It is a part of Khulna Division. Magura Government High School
Magura Govt. High School (, , informally known as Magura Boys' School) is a governmental educational institution in Magura, Bangladesh. It was established in 1854 at Shibrampur in Magura, where it remained for 22 years. It moved to its present location in 1981. It was founded by Jogendranath Sinha. The school has about 1200 students. It is a boys' school. The first headteacher was the founder Sinha himself. The current headteacher as of 2019 is Md. Ziaul Hasan, who replaced the previous headteacher, Md. Jahangir Alam, in July 2019 year.
