Magnus Landin Jacobsen
Magnus Landin Jacobsen (born 20 August 1995) is a Danish professional handballer for THW Kiel and the Danish national team. He is the younger brother of Niklas Landin Jacobsen. Playing career Landin won the 2013 Men's Youth World Handball Championship along the Danish youth national team, defeating Croatia 32–26 in OT. In 2013 Jacobsen signed with Nordsjælland Håndbold transferring from HIK. In 2014 it was announced that the talented left wing had signed a two-year contract with KIF Kolding København starting at the begin of the 2014/2015 season. He won his first Danish championship the first year at KIF Kolding Copenhagen. On 17 November 2017, KIF Kolding København announced that Magnus would leave the club at the end of the 2017/2018 season. 2015 Men's Junior World Handball Championship
The 2015 IHF Men's Junior World Championship was the 20th edition of the tournament and held at Brazil from 19 July to 1 August 2015. The decision to select Brazil as the host was announced 1 August 2014. France won their first title by defeating Denmark 26–24 in the final. 2019–20 Handball-Bundesliga
The 2019–20 Handball-Bundesliga was the 55th season of the Handball-Bundesliga, Germany's premier handball league and the 43rd season consisting of only one league. It ran from 22 August 2019 until it was cancelled in April 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the league postponed the league until late April. On 3 April, it was suspended until 16 May. The Handball-Bundesliga (HBL) is the top German professional handball league. From 2007 onwards, the league was sponsored by Toyota and has officially been called the ''Toyota Handball-Bundesliga''. The 2018–19 EHF Cup was the 38th edition of the EHF Cup, the second most important European handball club competition organised by the European Handball Federation (EHF), and the sixth edition since the merger with the EHF Cup Winners' Cup. The EHF European League is an annual men's handball club competition organised by the European Handball Federation (EHF) since 1981. It is the second-tier competition of European club handball, ranking only below the EHF Champions League. 2019–20 EHF Champions League
The 2019–20 EHF Champions League was the 60th edition of Europe's premier club handball tournament and the 27th edition under the current EHF Champions League format. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe, the knockout stage matches were postponed and later cancelled. The Final Four, which took place at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany, was moved from May to December and was contested by the top two teams from Groups A and B – Barça, Paris Saint-Germain, THW Kiel and Telekom Veszprém. The Men's EHF Champions League is the most important club handball competition for men's teams in Europe and involves the leading teams from the top European nations. The competition is organised every year by EHF. The official name for the men's competition is the EHF Champions League Men. Overtime (sports)
Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. In some sports, this extra period is played only if the game is required to have a clear winner, as in single-elimination tournaments where only one team or players can advance to the next round or win the tournament. The rules of overtime or extra time vary between sports and even different competitions. Some may employ " sudden death", where the first player or team who scores immediately wins the game. Niklas Landin Jacobsen
Niklas Landin Jacobsen (born 19 December 1988) is a Danish handballer for THW Kiel and the Denmark national team. He has previously played for Rhein-Neckar Löwen. He is European Champion with the Danish national team, after winning the 2012 Championship in Serbia, defeating the host nation in the final, 21–19. Niklas Landin is the captain of the Denmark national team. In 2011 and 2013, he won silver medal at the World Men's Handball Championship. In 2016, he was part of the Danish team that won Olympic gold. With the Danish national team, he won the 2019 World Men's Handball Championship. He is the older brother of fellow THW Kiel player and Danish international Magnus Landin Jacobsen. Landin Jacobsen was named the IHF World Player of the Year for 2019 and for 2021.
