Magnus Eliassen
Magnus Eliassen (born 2 January 1981 in Bodø, Norway) is a Norwegian singer-songwriter and record producer. In 2003, under the pseudonym Magnetisk Nord, he released his debut EP ''Tinglysing''. He had a single entitled "Lois is Happy". In 2005, he released his studio solo album entitled ''Second Grace'' on Monomegamy Records and gaining popularity won the by:Larm Audience Award in 2006. Since then, he has had a number of releases and collaborations. In 2011, he recorded the charity single "Til dem du e glad i", in collaboration with Kråkesølv with proceeds going to the Norwegian Røde Kors (Red Cross) In 2011, Eliassen returned to the chart in the form of band named Sirkus Eliassen (being a duo between Magnus Eliassen and his younger brother Erik Eliassen). The single entitled "Hjem til dæ" reached No. 16 on VG-lista, the official Norwegian Singles Chart. Beyond Records was an English record label founded in Birmingham in 1992, best known for its ambient dub compilations, which were to define the genre. Sirkus Eliassen
Sirkus Eliassen is a Norwegian band consisting of brothers Magnus Eliassen and Erik Eliassen. The duo was formed in 2011 releasing its single "Hjem til dæ" that achieved high rotation on Norwegian radio and became a hit on VG-lista, the official Norwegian Singles Chart. In November 2011 they released their second single «Opp ned bak frem», followed by «Æ vil bare dans» in February 2012 and «Før du går» in June the same year. Sirkus Eliassen's seven singles has achieved 43 x platinum in Norway. All seven singles have been playlisted on national radio in Norway. Kråkesølv (initiated in December 2007) is a rock band from Bodø, Norway. The name is taken from a tune by the hardcore band Hjertesorg (also from Bodø), in which Fredrik William Olsen and Thomas Litangen played. Biography The band is based in Bodø and the members are linked to the musical scene connected to the culture house Kulturhuset Gimle and the Rock club X in Bodø. Kråkesølv gave their first gig at Kulturhuset Gimle in Bodø 2008. The same year they recorded a three-track demo at Hunstad Kultursenter in Bodø, containing the tunes «Hell litervis med sand på timeglasset», «Hjørnebrikke» and «Blåe øya».
