Magix Music Maker is a commercial digital audio workstation (DAW) designed by the company Magix for the consumer sector. The program's attributes originate from Samplitude, Magix's professional digital audio workstation. The first version of Music Maker was published in 1994. With more than a million copies sold, Music Maker has become one of Europe’s most successful music editing programs. Vegas Pro (stylized as VEGAS Pro, colloquially called ''Sony Vegas'') is a video editing software package for non-linear editing (NLE). The first release of Vegas Beta was on June 11, 1999. Sound Forge (formerly known as Sonic Foundry Sound Forge, and later as Sony Sound Forge) is a digital audio editing suite by Magix Software GmbH, which is aimed at the professional and semi-professional markets. There are two versions of Sound Forge: Sound Forge Pro 12 released in April 2018 and Sound Forge Audio Studio 13 (formerly known as ''Sonic Foundry's Sound Forge LE'') released in January 2019.
