Magical Kenya Ladies Open
The Magical Kenya Ladies Open is a professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour, first played in 2019. The tournament is played in Kenya at Vipingo Ridge, near Kikambala in the former Coast Province. It was the last Ladies European Tour event of the 2019 season and marked the first time professional lady golfers played competitively in the region. In 2022, following a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Germany's Esther Henseleit successfully defended her title. Esther Henseleit
Esther Henseleit (born 14 January 1999) is a German professional golfer and member of the Ladies European Tour and LPGA Tour. Amateur career Henseleit attended Freie Waldorfschule Oldenburg and played for Golfclub am Meer before switching to Hamburg Golf Club in 2013. She joined the German national team in 2014 and finished third at the 2016 International Amateur Championship. In 2017 she was selected for the Junior Solheim Cup and in 2018 she was runner-up at the European Ladies Amateur Championship, one stroke behind Celia BarquÃn. Marta Sanz Barrio (born 27 August 1992) is a professional golfer from Spain. She has played on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the U.S-based Symetra Tour, where she has two victories. Early life and amateur career Sanz was born in Madrid in 1992 to Carmelo Sanz and Marina Barrio, who introduced her to golf at 5. Her older sister, Patricia Sanz Barrio, is also an LET player and played golf at Auburn University from 2008 to 2012. Alice Hewson (born 19 August 1997) is an English professional golfer. She won the 2019 European Ladies Amateur and joined the Ladies European Tour in 2020 to win in her first event, the Investec South African Women's Open. Amateur career Hewson hails from Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. She started golf at the age of six with her Dad and played in her first tournament on her seventh birthday. She won the England U13 championships and was in the National U18 team at age 15. Her first GB&I cap came at age 15 in the Junior Vagliano Trophy and she played in three Vagliano Trophies. Chanoknan "April" Anugrasaranee (born 23 April 2004) is a Thai professional golfer on the Ladies European Tour. She turned professional in 2020, when she was 16 years old. Career Anugrasaranee started playing golf at 11 years old and turned pro at 16 years old. Golf
