Maggie Doyle
Maggie Doyle is a fictional character in the long-running Australian police drama ''Blue Heelers'', portrayed by Lisa McCune. A feisty young constable from a policing family, Maggie arrived in Mount Thomas during the first episode, which follows her as she meets each of her colleagues in turn. The first female constable to join the station, she is faced with the prospect of not only learning how policing is a little bit different in a country town, but also with overcoming the chauvinism of some of the locals, and of some of her colleagues. ''Blue Heelers'' is an Australian police drama series that was produced by Southern Star Group and ran for 12 years on the Seven Network, from 1994 to 2006. Although based around the policing of the town, the series generally depicted the everyday lives and relationships of the residents of Mount Thomas, a fictional small town in Victoria. Hal McElroy
Hal and James "Jim" McElroy (born 6 April 1946) are Australian twin film and television producers. They are best known for three films they produced jointly in the 1970s, all directed by Peter Weir at the start of his career: ''The Cars That Ate Paris'' (1974), '' Picnic at Hanging Rock'' (1975), and ''The Last Wave'' (1977). Julie Nihill (born 1957 in Melbourne) is an Australian actress, best known for her 13-year role as Chris Riley on the police drama ''Blue Heelers'' (1994–2006). Biography Nihill made her television debut in ''I Can Jump Puddles'' (1981) and her film debut in '' Careful, He Might Hear You'' (1983). Wayne Patterson
Wayne George Patterson was a fictional character on the long-running Australian police drama Blue Heelers, played by actor Grant Bowler. He starred in the show from its beginning until he was hit by a car and killed in episode 96 in 1996. Wayne is a young member of the Mount Thomas team and is about Maggie's age. Maggie and Wayne attended the police academy together and dated for a while.
