Magdi Rúzsa
Magdolna "Magdi" Rúzsa (; sr, Магдолна Ружа, Magdolna Ruža; born 28 November 1985) is a Hungarian singer who won the 2006 title of ''Megasztár'' (''"Megastar"''), Hungary's nationwide talent search, that resembles, but is not based on, ''Pop Idol''. As the winner of the category "Newcomer of the Year" at the Fonogram Hungarian Music Awards in 2007, she represented Hungary at the Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki, Finland with the song "Unsubstantial Blues". She finished ninth and won a Marcel Bezençon Award in the Best Composer category. She often performs songs by her favorite singer, Janis Joplin. Biography Born in Vrbas into the Hungarian ethnic minority in Serbia, Rúzsa studied in Subotica as an obstetric nurse. Vrbas ( sr-Cyrl, Врбас; hu, Verbász) is a town and municipality located in the South Bačka District of the autonomous province of Vojvodina, Serbia. As of 2011, the town had a population of 24,112, while the municipality had 42,092 inhabitants. Name Its name stems from the word "Willow" in the Serbian language. During the SFRY period, the town was renamed ''Titov Vrbas'' (meaning "the Vrbas of Tito"), after Josip Broz Tito. Like all other towns in Socialist Yugoslavia named after Tito, the first part was dropped once the new states were formed during the early 1990s. In Rusyn, the town is known as ''Вербас'', in Hungarian as ''Verbász'', in Croatian as ''Vrbas'', in German as ''Werbass'', and in Turkish as ''Verbas''. "Got My Mind Set on You" (also written as "(Got My Mind) Set on You") is a song written and composed by Rudy Clark and originally recorded by James Ray in 1962, under the title "I've Got My Mind Set on You". Hungária was a Hungarian pop-rock band formed by singer/guitarist/keyboardist Miklós Fenyő in 1967. Despite periodic suppression by the Hungarian Communist regime, by the early 1980s Hungária was one of the country's most popular bands. History Miklós Fenyő had lived in the United States for a time. He entered the Hungarian music scene in 1962 and started his own band Syconor in 1964. In 1967 he formed a songwriting partnership with lyricist István S. Nagy, and formed Hungária as an outlet for his songs. The earliest Hungária songs were in the style of beat music. In 1968 the band won the televised talent competition '' Ki mit tud?''. In the following years, the band moved toward psychedelic rock and hard rock. AC/DC (stylised as ACϟDC) are an Australian Rock music, rock band formed in Sydney in 1973 by Scottish-born brothers Malcolm Young, Malcolm and Angus Young. "Highway to Hell" is a song by Australian rock band AC/DC. It is the opening track of their 1979 album ''Highway to Hell''. It was initially released as a single in 1979. The song was written by Angus Young, Malcolm Young and Bon Scott, with Angus Young credited for writing the guitar riff which became an instant classic. 2007 Eurovision Song Contest
The Eurovision Song Contest 2007 was the 52nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Helsinki, Finland, following the country's victory at the with the song "Hard Rock Hallelujah" by Lordi.
