Magaji Abdullahi
Engineer Magaji Abdullahi (22 November 1947 – 24 July 2016) was a Nigerian politician. He was the deputy governor of Kano State between 2003 and 2007. Abdullahi led the Water Resources Engineering and Construction Agency (WRECA) in Kano State, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Works and Housing, Director General Ministry of Works, Housing and Transport, Commissioner Ministry of Works, Housing and Transport. Abdullahi came into the limelight when he contested for the governorship of Kano State, under the defunct Social Democratic Party (Nigeria)(SDP) in 1991. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje
Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR (born 25 December 1949) is a Nigerian politician who is currently serving as the Governor of Kano State. He took over office in 2015. He previously served as Rabiu Kwankwaso's deputy governor twice, between 1999 to 2003 and 2011 to 2015. Background Ganduje was born in 1949 to a Fulani family in the village of Ganduje, Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State. He began his early education in a Qur'anic and Islamiyya school at his village, where he was trained in Islamic knowledge. Later, he moved to the headquarters of his local government where he attended Dawakin Tofa Primary School from 1956 to 1963. Ganduje attended the prestigious Government College, Birnin Kudu from 1964 to 1968. Ganduje attended Advanced Teachers' College, Kano between 1969 and 1972. Lamidi Adedibu
Chief Lamidi Ariyibi Akanji Adedibu (24 October 1927 – 11 June 2008) was an aristocratic power broker in Oyo State, Nigeria. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo described him as the "father of the PDP". Adedibu was born on October 24, 1927 at Oja-Oba, Ibadan, a member of the Olupoyi chieftaincy ruling house. Adedibu entered politics in the 1950s, when he became a member of the Ibadan People's Party, and then joined the Action Group under Chief Obafemi Awolowo. Later he was a member of the National Party of Nigeria (NPN) led by Chiefs Adisa Akinloye and Richard Akinjide. He became an increasing force in politics during the military reign of General Ibrahim Babangida, where he backed the candidature of Major General Shehu Musa Yar'adua in the Social Democratic Party together with other politicians such as Babagana Kingibe, Atiku Abubakar and Abdullahi Aliyu Sumaila. Kabiru Muhammad Gwangwazo
Kabiru Muhammad Gwangwazo is an activist, journalist and a Nigerian politician from Kano state, Nigeria. Early life and education Kabiru Muhammad was born on 13 April 1959 at Kachako of Takai Local Government Area of Kano State the first male son, and third child, of late Hajiya Goggo Hauwa (died. 4 August 2006) and his late father Malam Muhammadu Misau (died. 10 October 2002) an Islamic Scholar had been posted as Sanitary Inspector by the Kano Native Authority after he had trained at School of Hygiene, Kano. The family left Kano city, for Kachako in the late 1950s. They returned to Kano City after Kabiru was born in 1959; and moved to Gwangwazo quarters of Kano Municipal Local Government Area of Kano State where he was raised. Ibrahim Khaleel Inuwa
Ibrahim Khaleel Inuwa, also known as Engineer IK Inuwa, was a Nigerian politician, Kano State consultant, and a member of the Debate Coordinating Committee, that was chaired by Justice Niki Tobi on the Constitution of Nigeria (1999). Early life and education Inuwa was born in Gwale Local Government Area of Kano State, Nigeria, on April 15, 1949. He received his primary education at Kofar Kudu Junior Primary School, Emir's Palace, and at Kano State, from 1956 to 1959, before later attending Gwale Senior Primary School in Kano from 1960 to 1962. Inuwa attended the Government College in California from 1963 to 1967, where he received the West Africa School Certificate. In 1968, he attended Rumfa College, Kano, and earned his Cambridge Higher School Certificate in 1969.
