Mads Christiansen
Mads Christiansen (born 3 May 1986) is a Danish handballer, currently playing for Fredericia HK. He has previously played for the Danish league clubs Aalborg Håndbold, Bjerringbro-Silkeborg, GOG and Team Tvis Holstebro, and for the German SC Magdeburg. He is European Champion with the Danish national team, after winning the 2012 Championship in Serbia, defeating the host nation in the final, 21–19. In 2011, he also won silver medal at the World Championships in Sweden. On 21 October 2015 SC Magdeburg announced that they had signed with Mads Christiansen, who will join the club on 1 July 2016. In August 2018 Aalborg Håndbold announced the signing of Mads Christiansen who would return in the summer 2019 on a 3-year deal. In 2021 he shifted to Fredericia HK. Næstved () is a town in the municipality of the same name, located in the southern part of the island of Zealand in Denmark. Næstved has several adult education centers, five elementary schools - and has at least one of each type of the four upper-second-level education centers. Danish Men's Handball Cup
The Danish Men's Handball cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen i håndbold for herrer) is the nationwide cup tournament for men's handball teams in Denmark. It’s also known as Santander Cup for sponsorship reasons. The competition has been played annually since 1964. Tournament structure The initial 6 rounds are managed by the three regional federations with the DHF taking over the tournament at the round of 16. It ultimately results in a final four event scheduled between Christmas and New Year. The winner of the tournament qualify for the annual Super Cup held during the summer where they meet the season's league winner. The Danish Men's Handball League, formerly known as Herrehåndboldligaen is the men's top Danish professional handball league. The winners of the Danish Men's Handball League are recognised as the Danish men's handball champions. The current champions are GOG Håndbold. Season The Danish Men's Handball League season consists of 14 teams, each playing 26 regular season games. The eight best teams of the regular season advance to further games, where they are divided into two groups of four teams each. No. 1 and 2 from the regular season start with 2 points.
