The Madiun River ( id, Bengawan Madiun or ''Kali Madiun'') is a river in East Java, Indonesia, about 500 km to the east of the capital Jakarta. Province
A province is almost always an administrative division within a country or sovereign state, state. The term derives from the ancient Roman ''Roman province, provincia'', which was the major territorial and administrative unit of the Roman Empire, Roman Empire's territorial possessions outside Roman Italy, Italy. A savanna or savannah is a mixed woodland-grassland (i.e. grassy woodland) ecosystem characterised by the trees being sufficiently widely spaced so that the canopy does not close. Ngawi Regency is a regency (''kabupaten'') of East Java, Indonesia. Ngawi is well known around the world for its '' Pithecantropus erectus'' that was found by Eugene Dubois, a Dutchman. Ngawi is located in East Java Province, but adjoins Central Java province. Its capital Ngawi (city). Magetan Regency
Magetan Regency is a regency ''(kabupaten)'' of East Java Province, Indonesia. It is an inland regency, and lies in the west of the province, adjoining Central Java Province. It covers an area of 668.84 km2 and had a population of 620,442 at the 2010 Census and 670,812 at the 2020 Census. The administrative headquarters is in the town of Magetan. Magetan has a famous lake called Sarangan Lake which is located in Plaosan District. Madiun Regency
Madiun Regency ( id, Kabupaten Madiun; jv, ꦑꦧꦸꦥꦠꦺꦤ꧀ꦩꦝꦶꦪꦸꦤ꧀) is a landlocked Regency in East Java province, Indonesia. It covers an area of 1,010.86 km2, and had a population of 662,278 at the 2010 Census and 744,350 at the 2020 Census. It is bordered by Bojonegoro Regency in the north, Nganjuk Regency in the east, Ponorogo Regency in the south, and Magetan Regency and Ngawi Regency in the west, while the city of Madiun is an enclave within the regency. Its capital was formerly the city of Madiun but became the district of Mejayan, in accordance with Government Regulation No.52 of the year 2010.
