Madiha Rashid Al-Madfai ( ar, مديحة رشيد المدفعي) (died 26 November 2019) was a Jordanian radio broadcaster for BBC Arabic. She was the first woman to broadcast news bulletins on BBC Arabic and presented multiple political programmes of a serious nature such as ''Panorama'' and ''Opinion and Other Opinion'' of which the Arabic public were unfamiliar with. Al-Madfai had also worked for the Voice of Palestine from Cairo and worked on the Jordanian radio industry. She retired from radio broadcasting in 2000. Madeeha Gauhar (; 21 September 1956 – 25 April 2018) was a Pakistani TV and stage actress, playwright and director of social theater, and women's rights activist. In 1984, she founded Ajoka Theatre where social themes were staged in theaters, on the street and in public places. With Ajoka Theater, she performed in Asia and Europe. Madiha Kamel (; August 3, 1948 - January 13, 1997) was an Egyptian actress. Biography Madiha Kamel was born in Alexandria. In 1963, as a teenager, her family moved to Cairo. Accompanied by her mother, she presented herself to a modeling contest. She was selected and did some fashion shows for fashion designers.
