''Mademoiselle and Her Gang'' (French: ''Mademoiselle et son gang'') is a 1957 French comedy film directed by Jean Boyer and starring Line Renaud, Noël Roquevert and Philippe Nicaud.Powrie & Stilwell p.143 It was shot at the Billancourt Studios in Paris. The film's sets were designed by the art director Robert Giordani. Synopsis Agnès Bourdieux the daughter of a police inspector, and a successful crime novelist under a male pseudonym, becomes leader of an inept gang of criminals. Sylvia Lopez (November 10, 1933 – November 20, 1959) was a French model and actress. Career as a model Born Tatjana Bernt, she was raised in Paris, where she began a career in modelling. Eventually she modeled for couturier Jacques Fath, the first French fashion designer to export his creations to the United States. Raymond Gérôme
Raymond Gérôme (17 May 1920 — 3 February 2002) was a Belgian-born, French stage and screen actor. Gérôme was born as Raymond Joseph Léon De Backer in Koekelberg. He made his first stage appearance in 1946, in a stage production of ''Jeanne d'Arc au bûcher'' and he entered films in 1954. He is best known to English speaking audiences for his roles as The Commander in '' The Brain'' and Inspector Renard in ''The Greengage Summer''. In later life, he lent his voice to dubbing - he provided the voice of Governor Ratcliffe in the French release of '' Pocahontas''. In 1982 he was awarded a ''Pix du Brigadier'' for his performance in ''L'Extravagant Mister Wilde''. Gérôme died in 2002, at his home in Les Lilas. Paul Bonifas (3 June 1902 – 9 November 1975) was a French actor, born in Paris. Career In the 1920s, while working for the French customs service, Bonifas took classes in acting at the Conservatoire de Paris in his spare time. He left with the first prize for comedy, which allowed him to join the Odéon Theatre in 1933, then the Comédie-Française in 1938. He made his first film appearance in 1935 in a version of Dostoyevsky's ''Crime and Punishment'', directed by Pierre Chenal. During World War II he served as a lieutenant in the artillery, was badly wounded, and evacuated from Dunkirk with his unit. In London he joined the Free French, and worked for ''Radio Londres'' broadcasting to occupied France. In 1942 he appeared in the film '' The Foreman Went to France''.
