"Madden" (stylised as "MADDEN") is a song by English DJ and producer Joyryde. It was released on 23 August 2019 by American record label Hard Recs. The song is to be featured as part of Joyryde's debut album, '' Brave''. Background and release In a press release to promote the song, Joyryde stated that he was inspired to create something that features a Lamborghini Countach after watching the film The Wolf of Wall Street. On 26 July, he organised two of the cars to be featured at his show in the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. On 15 August 2019, Joyryde announced the release date of his third album single, "Madden" via social media. Prior to release, the song was featured prominently in Joyryde's live-sets. On 23 August 2019, the song was released as a digital download on international digital stores, as well as being released through various music streaming services. Jon Ford, (born 24 July 1985) better known by his stage name Joyryde (stylised as JOYRYDE), is an English DJ and producer, son of John Ford (also known as John Phantasm and owner of Phantasm Records). Early career Inspired by his father John Phantasm (and consequently the music he heard playing at home when he was young), Ford started producing his own music in the studio from the age of 9 but did not begin DJing worldwide until he was 13. Wrapped up in the life of DJing, Ford did not return to the studio until he was 15, which was when he 'wanted to get back into the producing part of it since the music was getting more technical'. UK Hard House
UK hard house or simply hard house is a style of electronic dance music that emerged in the early 1990s and is synonymous with its association to the Trade club and the associated DJs there that created the style. It often features a speedy tempo (around 150 BPM but hard house ranges from around 135 BPM to around 165 BPM), offbeat bass stabs, hoovers and horns. It usually contains a break in the middle of the track where no drums are present. UK hard house often uses a long and sharp string note to create suspense.
