Madambi
''Madampi'' () is a 2008 Indian Malayalam-language family drama film written and directed by B. Unnikrishnan. It stars Mohanlal, Siddique, Ajmal Ameer, Kavya Madhavan, Mallika Kapoor, and K. P. A. C. Lalitha. The film was released on 4 July 2008. It received positive reviews from critics and was a box office success. Plot Gopalakrishna Pillai (Mohanlal) is a rich money-lender in a village called Elavumthitta in Pathanamthitta district. People misunderstand him to be money-minded, without having any emotional bond even towards his mother Devaki Amma (KPAC Lalitha) or younger brother Ramakrishna Pillai (Ajmal Ameer). As the story moves along, we learn more about the hero. He is considered heartless, as he threw out his father Madhava Menon ( Sai Kumar) when he was a teenager, for his father's wayward lifestyle. Gireesh Puthenchery
Girish Puthenchery (1961–2010) was a noted Malayalam Lyricist, Poet, Scriptwriter and Screenwriter. He was always referred to as the aristocratic lyricist of Malayalam who had a distinctive writing style of his own. He also served as the director of Indian Performance Rights Society Malayalam division (I.P.R.S) and governing council member of the Kerala Kalamandalam and Kerala Lalithakala Academy. He debuted with the movie Enquiry in 1989. He won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Lyricist seven times. He also held the record for writing the highest number of songs in the Malayalam film industry within the briefest period of time. He died on 10 February 2010 in a private hospital in Kozhikode. Ajmal Ameer (born 8 November 1985) is an Indian actor and former physician, who works in the Cinema of Kerala, Malayalam, Cinema of Tamil Nadu, Tamil, and Cinema of Andhra Pradesh, Telugu film industries. Siddique (born 1 October 1962) is an Indian actor and producer, who works mainly in Malayalam cinema. Along with appearing in over 350 Malayalam films, he has also acted in a few Tamil, Telugu and Hindi language films. He is known for having played a wide range of starring and supporting roles, including comic characters, romantic leads, anti-heroes and villains. Madhu (actor)
Madhavan Nair, commonly known by his stage name Madhu, is an Indian actor, director, producer, former college lecturer and former film studio owner, who works in Malayalam cinema and a certain number of Hindi and Tamil films.
