''Madaalasa'' is a 1978 Indian Malayalam-language film, directed by J. Williams and produced by Paul Vengola. The film stars Thikkurissy Sukumaran Nair, Sreelatha Namboothiri, Prathapachandran and Sukumaran. The film has musical score by K. J. Joy. Plot Pattalam Vasu is a lorry driver and a former service man, a drunkard, but with good principles. He is the guardian to Jaanu, his love interest, and to her sister Sumathi. Vasu loves her and wished to marry, but his conversations are always bitter, cruel and doubtful of her fidelity. Chandru (Mohan) who is studying in city come to his home town for vacation. Jaanu working as a house maid at Chandru's home for her earnings. Chandru is a teen aged youth who is struggling due to his age and got disturbed many times with the good looking Jaanu and her beauty. His lust on her is blaming day by day and make him restless. Mohan (actor)
Mohan (born 23 August 1956) is an Indian actor, known for his works predominantly in Tamil cinema, and a few Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam films. He is also known as "Kokila Mohan" after his debut film '' Kokila'' (1977), and "Mic Mohan" from numerous roles playing singers using microphones. In 1982, he received the Filmfare Award for Best Tamil Actor for his work in ''Payanangal Mudivathillai''. Career Mohan was introduced to the world of theatre by B. V. Karanth, who spotted him at a restaurant. Mohan's first stage play was praised by critics from places like Delhi. Sukumaran
Edappal Ponnamkuzhi Veettil Parameswaran Sukumaran Nair (10 June 1948 – 16 June 1997), known mononymously as Sukumaran, was an Indian actor and producer of Malayalam films. Sukumaran became a popular film star in Malayalam cinema during the 1970s. He was considered one of the superstar trios of Malayalam cinema during the late 1970s and early 1980s along with Soman and Jayan. Later, he became known for his character roles and antagonistic roles during the 1980s and 1990s, notably the villain in '' CID Unnikrishnan B.A., B.Ed.''(1994) and ''Onnaam Muhurtham''(1991), playing character roles in films like ''Souhrudam''(1990). Thikkurissy Sukumaran Nair
Thikkurissy Sukumaran Nair (16 October 191611 March 1997) was an Indian poet, playwright, script writer, lyricist, orator, film director and actor, though he is best known as an actor in Malayalam cinema. He is the recipient of Padma Shri from the Government of India, which is one of the highest civilian honours in India. In a career that spanned about 47 years, he acted in over 700 films. He is considered to be the "First Superstar in Mollywood". In 1993, he was honoured with the J. C. Daniel Award, Kerala government's highest honour for contributions to Malayalam cinema. Early life Sukumaran Nair was born on 16 October 1916 in the village of Thikkurissy, Nagercoil, then part of Travancore. The village of Thikkurissy is now in Nanchilnadu, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu. He was born in an aristocratic Nair family to Mangat C. Govinda Pillai and N. Lekshmi Amma.

Sreelatha Namboothiri (born Anjilivelil Vasantha) is an Indian actress and playback singer who works in Malayalam cinema and television. She has acted in more than 300 films.
