Mad Dog (DC Comics)
The Mad Dog is the name of four fictional characters in the DC Comics universe. Two of them are associated with the ''Batman'' myths. Publication history The third Mad Dog was created by writer Andersen Gabrych and artist Ale Garza. He first appeared as an enemy of Cassandra Cain (then Batgirl) in ''Batgirl'' (vol. 2) #67 (October 2005). Fictional character biography Lucas "Mad Dog" McGill Lucas "Mad Dog" McGill is a highly dangerous criminal who is wanted in several states for multiple counts of murder and was notorious for shooting men in the back. One night while beating a woman in the streets, he met a young Jonah Hex (who was drunk at the time). In his inebriated state, Jonah Hex believed that McGill was his father Woodson Hex abusing his mother Ginny and shot him dead where he stood. Metropolis is a fictional city appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, best known as the home of Superman and his List of Superman supporting characters, closest allies and some of his List of Superman enemies, foes. First appearing by name in ''Action Comics'' #16 (Sept. 1939), Metropolis is depicted as a prosperous and massive city in the Northeastern United States, in close proximity to Gotham City. In recent years, it has been stated to be located in Delaware or New York (state), New York. Nyssa Raatko ( ar, نيسا رعتكو), also known as Nyssa al Ghul, is a supervillainess in DC Comics. Nyssa Raatko was created by Greg Rucka and Klaus Janson for the Batman series of comic books. Ra's al Ghul, commonly pronounced correctly as ''Re'sh'', hence or ; "The Head of the Demon" or, in a rougher translation, "The Chief Demon". is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly as an adversary of the superhero Batman.
