Macéo Capietto (born 12 January 2006) is a French racing driver competing in the Formula Regional European Championship with Race Performance Motorsport. Early and personal life Born in Montereau and based in Veneux-les-Sablons, Capietto has spent all his life in the Île-de-France, the most populous region of France. He is the son of Prema Racing team manager and former karting driver Guillaume Capietto. Career Karting Following in the footsteps of his father, Capietto started competing in karting from a very young age. After spending three seasons in Minikart in which he became the regional Île-de-France champion, he moved onto the international scene in 2018 and was briefly coached by Anthoine Hubert. He came runner-up to Esteban Masson in the 2019 French Junior Karting Championship, and in his last year of karting, driving for Giorgio Pantano's team, was a podium finisher in the WSK Euro Series. Giorgio Pantano
Giorgio Pantano (born 4 February 1979) is an Italian professional racing driver who drove for the Jordan Formula One team for much of the 2004 season before being replaced by Timo Glock. He also raced in Formula 3000. He retired from racing at the end of 2014. He raced in the GP2 Series from its inaugural year in 2005 until his championship campaign in 2008, holding the record for most races competed and most races won in the series. As of 2011, these records have been taken over by Luca Filippi (86 starts) and Pastor Maldonado (10 wins) respectively. Circuit Paul Armagnac
Circuit Paul Armagnac also known as Circuit de Nogaro is a motorsport race track located in the commune of Nogaro in the Gers department in southwestern France. The track is named in honor of Nogaro-born racing driver Paul Armagnac who died in an accident during practice for the 1962 1000 km de Paris at the Montlhéry circuit. History Motorsports racing events in Nogaro were first organized when racing driver Paul Armagnac and Robert Castagnon created the Association Sportive Automobile de l'Armagnac. In 1953 the Rallye de l'Armagnac was held on a street circuit using public roads around Nogaro. The Karting World Championship is a kart racing competition organised by the CIK-FIA. It is held annually since 1964, and is karting's flagship event. The FIA (International Automobile Federation) created the CIK (International Karting Commission) in 1962. The Current President of the Championship is former Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa. OKJ (karting)
OK-Junior is a kart racing class for top drivers aged 11 to 15 (drivers must reach the age of 12 within the first semester of calendar year). This class used to be called Junior Intercontinental A (JICA or ICA-J) and has changed since January 2007 when CIK-FIA decided to replace the 100 cc air-cooled two-stroke engines with 125 cc Touch-and-Go (TaG) water-cooled two-stroke engines (KF type).The engines produce .
