Mack Leftwich
Mack Hays Leftwich (born November 18, 1994) is an American football coach and former player. He is the offensive coordinator for Texas State Bobcats football team. Early life and playing career Leftwich was born in Denton, Texas and spent most of his childhood there while his father, Spencer Leftwich, was the offensive line coach at the University of North Texas. He moved to Wexford, Pennsylvania and enrolled at North Allegheny Senior High School prior to his junior year of high school. As a senior, he was named the Pennsylvania Player of the Year and first team All-State after completing 177-of-268 pass attempts for 3,331 yards with 45 touchdowns and four interceptions and also rushing 128 times for 553 yards and 10 touchdowns. Offensive Coordinator
An offensive coordinator is a member of the coaching staff of an American football or Canadian football team who is in charge of the team's offense. Generally, along with the defensive coordinator and the special teams coordinator, this coach represents the second level of coaching structure after the head coach. The offensive coordinator is in charge of the team's offensive game plan, and typically calls offensive plays during the game, although some offensive-minded head coaches also handle play-calling. Several position coaches work under the offensive coordinator (position groupings can include quarterbacks, wide receivers, offensive line, running backs, and tight ends). Walter Payton Award
The Walter Payton Award is awarded annually to the most outstanding offensive player in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (formerly Division I-AA) of college football as chosen by a nationwide panel of media and college sports information directors. The honor was first given in 1987 to the outstanding player in the division, but in 1995, eligibility was restricted to offensive players, as the Buck Buchanan Award for defensive players was inaugurated. The award was named in honor of the late National Football League (NFL) legend Walter Payton, who starred at Jackson State University in the early 1970s. Eric Morris (born October 26, 1985) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the head football coach at the University of North Texas. He was previously the head football coach at the University of the Incarnate Word and offensive coordinator at Washington State University. Early life Morris was born in Littlefield, Texas. He attended Shallowater High School in Shallowater, Texas, where he played basketball and football at the wide receiver and quarterback positions. Cameron Ward (born May 25, 2002) is an American football quarterback who plays for the University of Miami. Early life and high school career Ward grew up in West Columbia, Texas and attended Columbia High School.
