Maciej Fortuna is a Polish jazz trumpet player, composer and musical educator. He runs the Fortuna Music record label. Jerzy Milian dedicated his composition "Music For Mr. Fortuna" to Maciej Fortuna. Education Maciej graduated from the University of Poznan Law School in 2007 and obtained a master's degree with first class honours from the Academy of Music in Wroclaw, Piotr Wojtasik jazz trumpet class (2010). Maciej Marian Giertych (, born 24 March 1936 in Warsaw) is a Polish dendrologist and social conservative politician of the League of Polish Families (LPR). He favours state intervention in the economy. He was a member of the Sejm (between 2001 and 2004) and a Polish member of the European Parliament (from 2004 to 2009). He was a candidate in the 2005 Polish presidential elections, but withdrew from the race because of low vote results (circa 3%). Maciej Jerzy Stuhr (born 23 June 1975) is a Polish actor, comedian and occasional film director. Life and career In 1999, he majored in psychology from the Jagiellonian University before moving on to study acting at Kraków's National Academy of Theatre Arts, which he finished in 2003. Maciej Nowicki (born 28 September 1941 in Warsaw) is a Polish politician, manager and scientist. Minister of the Environment of the Republic of Poland in the cabinet of Donald Tusk (from 16 November 2007 to 1 February 2010). Maciej Zembaty (16 May 194427 June 2011) was a Polish artist, writer, journalist, singer, poet and comedian. Despite being considered one of the classics of Polish black humour, he is perhaps best known as a translator and populariser of songs and poems by Leonard Cohen. Life Maciej Zembaty was born May 16, 1944 in Tarnów and raised in Wadowice in Poland. He graduated from a musical lyceum (piano class) and attended an artistic lyceum (which he never graduated from). Maciej Płażyński (; 10 February 1958 – 10 April 2010) was a Polish liberal-conservative politician. Biography Płażyński was born in Młynary.
