Machiste (comics)
Machiste is a supporting character in the Warlord a sword and sorcery comic book published by DC Comics. Machiste debuts in '' Warlord'' #2 (March 1976), and was created by Mike Grell. Fictional character biography Machiste is the wandering King of Kiro in the other dimensional realm of Skartaris, land of endless sun. He met Travis Morgan when they both served as galley slaves aboard the ship ''Gyrfalcon''. They quickly became close friends and both were sold as gladiators. Former gladiator Shebal trained them both in the arts of the arena. Travis Morgan led 200 gladiators (including Machiste) in a massive revolt. These rebel gladiators became the core of an army that Travis Morgan successfully led against the tyrannical king of Thera, his future archenemy Deimos. It was as the leader of this new army, that Travis first became known as the Warlord. Deimos had intended to conquer the rest of Skartaris using the advanced technology of ancient Atlantis. The Flashpoint Paradox
''Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox'' is a 2013 direct-to-video animated superhero film adaptation of the 2011 comic book crossover " Flashpoint" by Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert. It is scripted by Jim Krieg and directed by Jay Oliva. The film stars Justin Chambers as Barry Allen / Flash, C. Thomas Howell as Eobard Thawne / Professor Zoom, Michael B. Jordan as Victor Stone / Cyborg, and Kevin McKidd as Thomas Wayne / Batman. Phillip LaMarr (born January 24, 1967) is an American actor, comedian and screenwriter. LaMarr was one of the original featured cast members on the sketch comedy television series ''Mad TV''. His voice acting roles in animated series include John Stewart / Green Lantern in ''Justice League'' and ''Justice League Unlimited'', Hermes Conrad in ''Futurama'', the title characters of ''Samurai Jack'' and ''Static Shock'', and Wilt in ''Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends''. ''Justice League Unlimited'' (''JLU'') is a 2004–2006 American superhero animated television series that was produced by Warner Bros. Animation and aired on Cartoon Network. Ocean Master
Ocean Master is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by Bob Haney and Nick Cardy, and debuted in ''Aquaman'' #29 (September 1966). Ocean Master is the alter ego of Orm Marius, the half-brother and one of the greatest enemies of the superhero Aquaman. The character has had numerous origin stories throughout his comic book history, having been depicted as a human seafaring pirate in his original appearances during the Silver Age; an Inuit of homo magi descent following ''Crisis on Infinite Earths''; and a pure-blooded, xenophobic Atlantean of royalty who seeks to punish humanity for causing marine pollution since the New 52 continuity reboot.
