''Machi'' () is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by K. S. Vasantha Kumar. The film stars Dushyanth and Shubha Poonja, with Pasupathy, Bhanu Chander, Sulakshana, S. R. Prakash, Sathish, Ranjan and V. Sankar playing supporting roles. The film, produced by S. K. Krishnakanth, had musical score by A. R. Reihana and was released on 25 June 2004. Plot Karthik ( Dushyanth) is a rich spoiled brat from Mumbai who likes to spend time drinking alcohol in pubs and going night-clubbing. His father Mohanram ( Bhanu Chander), tired of seeing his son drunk every night, forces him to enroll in a medical college in Coimbatore. In Coimbatore, far from changing his behavior, Karthik rags the college students. Then, he meets four of his classmates: Pandi (S. R. Prakash), Babu (Sathish), Vasu (Ranjan) and Moses (V. Dushyanth Ramkumar
Dushyanth Ramkumar is an Indian actor and producer working in Tamil language films, who made his debut in '' Success'' (2004). After appearing in a couple of films, he has worked as an executive producer for Sivaji Productions. He is the son of Ramkumar Ganesan and grandson of the actor Sivaji Ganesan. He is now acting in South Indian Tamil TV soaps such as ''Devathai'', of for which he is one of the producers. Career Producer Issaki Sundar saw Dushyanth at the Sivaji Productions office and offered him the opportunity to make his acting debut. After initially rejecting the offer, he ultimately agreed after consulting with his uncle Prabhu and cousin Vikram Prabhu. Devan Ekambaram
Devan Ekambaram (born 25 December 1975) is an Indian American film playback singer, actor and composer. He began his career as a playback singer in Tamil films and later branched out to many other south Indian languages as well like Telugu, Kannada and has sung for over 500 films. Shankar Mahadevan (born 3 March 1967) is an Indian singer and composer who is part of the Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy trio that writes music for Indian films.
