Tukiya Kankasa-Mabula
Tukiya Kankasa-Mabula, sometimes Tukiya Kankasa Mabula, is a Zambian lawyer, educator, administrator and gender issues advocate. She served as the deputy governor, administration at the Bank of Zambia (BoZ), till 15 December 2019. She was replaced by Rhekha Mhango, the former head of the Human Resource Department at the central bank. the country's central bank and national banking regulator. She was appointed to that position in 2007, by Levy Mwanawasa, the president of Zambia at that time, replacing Felix Mfula, who retired. History Kankasa-Mabula is a native of Zambia. Angeline Mabula (born 6 May 1962) is a Tanzanian politician belonging to the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party. She is the current Minister of lands and human settlement development. She is a Member of Parliament for Ilemela. Background and education Mabula was born on May 6, 1962. She completed her schooling from the Lake Secondary School in 1981. She is an accountant by profession. In 1982, she received a certificate degree in bookkeeping. She went on to receive advanced and post-graduate diplomas in Accountancy from the Institute of Financial Management in 1990 and 1991 respectively.
