Sreekumaran Thampi
Sreekumaran Thampi (born 16 March 1940) is an Indian lyricist, music director, director, producer, and screenwriter in Malayalam cinema. He also writes poetry and is a recipient of the Vallathol Award. In 2017, he was awarded the J. C. Daniel Award, Kerala government's highest honour for contributions to Malayalam cinema. Film career Thampi was introduced to the Malayalam film industry in 1966 by P. Subramaniam as a lyricist in the film '' Kaattumallika''. He has produced 25 films, directed 29, and written scripts for 85 films in Malayalam besides writing thousands of songs. He is also the author of the well-known literary work ''Prem Nazir Enna Prema Gaanam''. He won the National Award for Best Book on Cinema film (Kanakkum Kavitayum) whilst his films ''Gaanam'' and ''Mohiniyattam'' won Kerala State Awards. Edappal Ponnamkuzhi Veettil Parameswaran Sukumaran Nair (10 June 1948 – 16 June 1997), known mononymously as Sukumaran, was an Indian actor and producer of Malayalam films. Sukumaran became a popular film star in Malayalam cinema during the 1970s. He was considered one of the superstar trios of Malayalam cinema during the late 1970s and early 1980s along with Soman and Jayan. Later, he became known for his character roles and antagonistic roles during the 1980s and 1990s, notably the villain in '' CID Unnikrishnan B.A., B.Ed.''(1994) and ''Onnaam Muhurtham''(1991), playing character roles in films like ''Souhrudam''(1990). Anandavally C. R. (14 January 1952 5 April 2019) was an Indian actress and dubbing artist, who predominantly worked in the Malayalam film industry. Early life Anandavally was born into an agricultural family at Veliyam, State of Travancore-Cochin to Tamilian parents. She did her schooling in "Kaiyela School" - Veliyam, where she began acting in school plays and later started Kadhaprasangam (story-telling performance). Mohamallika Pillai (born 4 November 1954), better known as Mallika Sukumaran is an Indian actress and businesswoman, known for her works in Malayalam cinema.
