Ma Zhenxia
Ma Zhenxia (born 1 August 1998) is a Chinese racewalker. She won the gold medal in the girls' 5 kilometre walk at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics held in Nanjing, China. In 2015, she won the gold medal in the women's 5000 metres walk at the Asian Youth Athletics Championships held in Doha, Qatar. In the same year, she also won the gold medal in the women's 5000 metres walk at the 2015 World Youth Championships in Athletics held in Cali, Colombia. She won the junior women's race at the 2016 IAAF World Race Walking Team Championships held in Rome, Italy. In the same year, she also won the gold medal in the women's 10,000 metres walk at the 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships held in Bydgoszcz, Poland. She won the women's event at the 2019 Asian Race Walking Championships. Racewalking
Racewalking, or race walking, is a long-distance discipline within the sport of athletics. Although a foot race, it is different from running in that one foot must appear to be in contact with the ground at all times. Referee, Race judges carefully assess that this is maintained throughout the race. Typically held on either roads or running tracks, common distances range from up to 100 kilometres race walk, 100 kilometres (62.1 mi). There are two racewalking distances contested at the Summer Olympics: the 20 kilometres race walk (men and women) and 50 kilometres race walk (men only). Both are held as road events. 2022 World Athletics Championships
The 2022 World Athletics Championships was the eighteenth edition of the World Athletics Championships. It was held at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, United States, from July 15–24, 2022, with the country hosting that competition for the first time. The competition was originally scheduled for August 6–15, 2021, but it was postponed by one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, World Athletics banned all Russian and Belarusian athletes and officials from participating at the championships. In addition, the stringent vaccination requirements for people entering the United States caused visa delays for participants and officials, with some ultimately being unable to enter the country. Asian Race Walking Championships
The Asian Race Walking Championships is an annual race walking competition for athletes representing countries from Asia, organized by the Asian Athletics Association (AAA). It was established in 2006 and has featured races for senior men (20 km and 50 km) and women (20 km). After the inaugural event 2006 in Wajima, Japan, the competition was split into two events: the 20 km (both men and women) were incorporated into the All-Japan Race Walking competitions held in mid March in Nomi, Japan. The 50 km event was held about a month later in mid April in Wajima, Japan. This is established until the year 2008.
