Ma'ale Shomron ( he, מַעֲלֵה שׁוֹמְרוֹן) is an Israeli settlement in the northern West Bank. Located about 300 metres above sea level, it is organised as a community settlement and falls under the jurisdiction of Shomron Regional Council. In it had a population of . The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this. History The settlement was established in February 1980 by a mixed group of Orthodox and non-religious Israelis from the Beitar and Herut movements. It is closely bordered by Karnei Shomron. Mishkei Herut Beitar
Mishkei Herut Beitar ( he, משקי חרות בית"ר) is a revisionist Zionist settlement movement in Israel, affiliated with Beitar and Likud. It is based in the Metzudat Ze'ev offices on King George Street in Tel Aviv. History Early Mishkei Herut Beitar settlements were established by members of the Platoon of the Wall brigade of Beitar. The first was Ramat Tyomkin (now part of Netanya) in 1932, followed by Tel Tzur near Zikhron Ya'akov. Azzun
Azzun (also spelled Azzoun) (, from the root word عز ''′izz'' which means honor or esteem) is a Palestinian town in Qalqilya Governorate in the northern West Bank, located 9 kilometers east of Qalqilya and 24 kilometers south of Tulkarm. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics census, Azzun, together with the adjacent villages of Islah and Izbat al-Tabib, had a population of over 8,900 in 2007. The vast majority of the inhabitants are Muslim, with a very small Christian minority. Location ‘Azzun is located 7-9 km west of Qalqiliya. Dani Dayan
Dani Dayan ( he, דני דיין; born 29 November 1955) is an Argentine Jews in Israel, Argentine-Israeli entrepreneur and Consul General of Israel in New York since August 2016 and Yad Vashem chairman since August 2021. Dayan is an advocate for the establishment and maintenance of Israeli settlements in the West Bank. He served as the Chairman of the Yesha Council from 2007 to 2013. In 2013, he resigned as Chairman of the Yesha Council to endorse Benjamin Netanyahu for Prime Minister. Dayan was subsequently appointed as Chief Foreign Envoy of the Yesha Council, as the only official representative of the Israeli settlement movement to the international community. Kafr Thulth ( ar, كفر ثلث) is a Palestinian town located on high, flat land south of Azzoun, south of Tulkarm in the Qalqilya Governorate. The average elevation is above sea level.
