''MV Secil Japan'' was a Panama Panama ( , ; es, link=no, Panamá ), officially the Republic of Panama ( es, República de Panamá), is a transcontinental country spanning the southern part of North America and the northern part of South America. Today little of the ship survives, although some remains can be seen at low tide. Loss Having made calls at Aveiro, Portugal, Aveiro and Leixões, Portugal, ''Secil Japan'' was bound for Liverpool carrying timber. While passing the north coast of Cornwall in strong gales, the ship's cargo shifted and an attempt was made to make refuge at Godrevy Point.
