MV Agusta Turismo Veloce
The MV Agusta Turismo Veloce is a motorcycle produced by the Italian motorcycle manufacturer MV Agusta. The machine premiered at the 2013 EICMA, but production was delayed due to the financial crisis being experienced by the manufacturer. The motorcycle was first made available to the press for road tests in April 2015. Overview The ''Turismo Veloce'' (Italian for Fast Touring) is advertised as a "The Tourer With A Racing Spirit", being a sports bike built into touring bodywork. It is aimed at the same sport touring market as the Ducati Multistrada and Kawasaki Ninja 1000. Originally designed by Ezio Mascheroni, the three cylinder, 4 stroke, 12 valve, DOHC engine is derived from unit in the MV Agusta F3 800. Launch control is an electronic aid to assist drivers of both racing and street cars to accelerate from a standing start. Motorcycles have been variously fitted with mechanical and electronic devices for both street and race. MV Agusta Rivale
The MV Agusta Rivale is a motorcycle that was produced by the Italian manufacturer MV Agusta from 2013 to 2017. Overview The MV Agusta Rivale, which was designed by Adrian Morton, was first shown at the EICMA Milan Motorcycle Show in 2012, going into production in 2014. The styling was a cross between a Supermoto style machine and a naked (unfaired) sport bike. The engine and chassis are derived from that used in the Brutale 800. The machine's name was inspired by the Riva Rivale luxury yacht. MV's CEO, Giovanni Castiglioni, saw one of the yachts in a harbour on the French Riviera and liked the name. The MV Agusta F3 is a series of motorcycles introduced in 2012 by the Italian manufacturer MV Agusta. These models are the first three-cylinder machines that MV Agusta have manufactured since the famous three-cylinder GP racers of the 1970s.
