MTX Mototrax
''MTX Mototrax'' is a racing video game developed by Left Field Productions and published by Activision for PlayStation 2 and Xbox in 2004. It was released for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X later that year developed by Beenox and published by Aspyr. It was also released in 2006 for the PlayStation Portable. Additional releases were planned for the GameCube console in 2004, which was later canceled, and Tapwave Zodiac, which was called off when Tapwave went out of business. A demo version of the game is available in the options menu in the PlayStation 2 version of ''Tony Hawk's Underground''. The game was developed in partnership with motocross rider Travis Pastrana, who lent his name and image to the game via its box art. Left Field Productions, Inc. was an American independent video game development studio located in Ventura, California. Founded in 1994 by industry veterans John Brandwood, Jeff Godfrey and Mike Lamb, Left Field is probably best known for their time spent as a Nintendo third-party developer, during which they designed the critically acclaimed Nintendo 64 game '' Excitebike 64''. On April 23, 1998, Nintendo announced the purchase of a minority interest in Left Field Productions, allowing them to expand operations and ensuring a steady flow of exclusive content from the developer. In September 2002, after months of speculation, Left Field bought out Nintendo's stake in the company, once again becoming a fully independent third-party developer. Travis Pastrana
Travis Alan Pastrana (born October 8, 1983) is an American professional motorsports competitor and stunt performer who has won championships and X Games gold medals in several disciplines, including supercross, motocross, freestyle motocross, and rally racing. He runs a show called ''Nitro Circus'' and the rallycross racing series Nitro Rallycross. Mike Brown (born May 1, 1972) is an American former professional motocross racer and Endurocross racer. He was the 2001 AMA 125cc motocross national champion. __TOC__ Motorcycle racing career Brown won his first professional race in 1994. In 1999, he finished third in the F.I.M. 125cc world championship. He followed that performance with another third place in the 2000 125cc world championship. Tim Ferry II (born March 18, 1975) is an American former professional motocross and supercross racer. He competed in the AMA Supercross Championships and AMA Motocross Championships for 18 seasons from 1992 to 2009, finishing in the top five in the season standings a total of 10 times. Ferry was a four-time member of the U.S. Motocross des Nations team. Motocross racing career Ferry began his amateur career with the Kawasaki factory racing team in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Carey Jason Phillip Hart (born July 17, 1975) is an American off-road truck racer, former professional freestyle motocross competitor, and former motorcycle racer. He is known for being the first motorcyclist to perform a back flip on a 250cc motorcycle during a competition, and for his company ''Hart & Huntington Tattoo & Clothing Company''. Kenny Bartram
Kenny Bartram (born August 23, 1978) is an American professional freestyle motocross rider. He is from Stillwater, Oklahoma, hence his nickname "The Cowboy" (Oklahoma State University is located in Stillwater, their mascot is the cowboy and their colors are also orange, which Bartram usually wears). Before his career in FMX, he won many Oklahoma State Series MX Races. Out of all other riders, he currently has the most wins, 57 in all. Bartam has suffered plenty of injuries, including 22 broken bones, 7 knocked out teeth, a steel plate in the jaw, and a damaged blood vessel in the brain (according to himself on an interview on the podcast, "M80" on FuelTV). Nate Adams
Nathaniel Adams (born March 29, 1984) is an American professional freestyle motocross rider and extreme sports athlete. A resident of Temecula, California, he attained national fame when he won the Freestyle Motocross World Championship in 2002. His nicknames are "The Destroyer" and "Nate Dog".
