The 2000 MTV Europe Music Awards were held on 16 November 2000 at the Ericsson Globe, Stockholm. Performers included Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue. Avicii Arena, originally known as Stockholm Globe Arena and previously as Ericsson Globe, but commonly referred to in Swedish simply as Globen (; "the Globe"), is an indoor arena located in Stockholm Globe City, Johanneshov district of Stockholm, Sweden. Lisa Nicole Lopes (May 27, 1971 – April 25, 2002), better known by her stage name Left Eye, was an American rapper and singer.
