Heart Wirral
Heart Wirral (formerly Wirral's Buzz) was an Independent Local Radio station broadcasting to the Wirral Peninsula, sharing its facilities with Heart Wrexham and Gold, in Gwersyllt, Wrexham. History The station, owned by Global Radio (originally by Marcher Radio Group), broadcast a mix of popular music and presenter chat. Launched in 1989 as ''MFM 97.1'' (an opt-out service from the main Marcher Sound output), the station relaunched as ''Wirral's Buzz'' on 14 February 1999, before becoming ''Heart Wirral'' in 2009. The station was broadcast from the Storeton transmitter on Storeton ridge in Higher Bebington. Although the area of the licence was Wirral, it could be received as far east as Warrington and as far west as Ruthin in the Heart Wrexham region. Marcher Sound
Heart Cheshire and North East Wales (formerly Marcher Sound and previously MFM 103.4) was an independent radio station broadcasting to north east Wales and Cheshire from its Mold Road studios in Gwersyllt, Wrexham, also shared with Gold and Heart Wirral. The station was last owned and operated by Global Radio who purchased the previous owner, GCap Media, the group formed by the merger of GWR Group and Capital Radio Group. GWR purchased Marcher Radio Group in October 2000, although the latter remains as the official licensee of the station, which now forms part of Capital North West and Wales. The station was broadcast from the Wrexham-Rhos Relay, situated just above The Moss near Wrexham, and although it officially broadcast to the Wrexham and Chester areas, it could also be heard in parts of Merseyside and Shropshire. M Radio (originally known as MFM Radio) is a radio station, based at Lyon (France) and created in 1981. M is dedicated to only French songs like its local competitor in Île-de-France, Chante France. History In 1981, MFM was created in Lyon, then named as Radio Montmartre, and proposed a format essentially based on French chansons from the 1920s till the 1960s. Following a certain success, Radio Montmartre extended its coverage in the late 1980s. In 1995, it was authorized by the CSA to change its name to "Montmartre FM". Until 1998, MFM was controlled by the RMC Group. The station was then acquired by LV & Co who were owned by Gérard Louvin. After the purchase, Montmartre FM became known simply as MFM. ''Melodies from Mars'' is a collection of unreleased tracks by Richard David James, better known under his pseudonym Aphex Twin. Although James did not admit authorship until 2014, it was known to fans as an unofficial Aphex Twin album because at least two of its tracks are alternate versions (possibly demo versions) of tracks featured on the subsequently released ''Richard D. James Album'' (1996). Some tracks also bear resemblance to those on '' Analogue Bubblebath 5''. These tracks are thought to mark the beginning of a new phase in James's career, when he started composing music using computer software rather than on synthesizers and analogue equipment. Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is an organosulfur compound with the formula (CH3)2SO2. It is also known by several other names including methyl sulfone and dimethyl sulfone (DMSO2). This colorless solid features the sulfonyl functional group and is the simplest of the sulfones. It is considered relatively inert chemically and is able to resist decomposition at elevated temperatures. It occurs naturally in some primitive plants, is present in small amounts in many foods and beverages, and is marketed as a dietary supplement. It is sometimes used as a cutting agent for illicitly manufactured methamphetamine.
