MC Alger (basketball)
Mouloudia Club d'Alger ( ar, نادي مولودية الجزائر), referred to as MC Alger or MCA for short, is an Algerian basketball team that was founded on 7 August 1921, as a division of the of MC Alger. They play their home games in the Hacène Harcha Arena, which has a capacity of 8,000 people. The team has won a record twenty-one Algerian national championships, as well as twenty Algerian Cups. History The team was originally part of the Mouloudia Club d'Alger (MC Alger) club, but became a part of Groupement Sportif des Pétroliers ( ar, المجمع الرياضي البترولي; English: Sports Group of Oil Fields) on 2 June 2008. Algerian Basketball Championship
The Algerian Basketball Championship, now called the ABC National 1, formally known as the ABC Super Division, is the pre-eminent men's basketball league in Algeria. National 1 is contested by 16 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated to the Second Division and replaced by the two winner of the playoffs. 2012–13 Algerian Basketball Championship
The 2012–13 Super Division (51st edition), Algeria's top tier basketball club competition, ran from October 19, 2012, through May 4, 2013.
