MBK Center
MBK Center, also known as Mahboonkrong ( th, มาบุญครอง; , ), is a large shopping mall in Bangkok, Thailand. At eight storeys, the center contains around 2,000 shops, restaurants and service outlets. In 2009, MBK Center management reported daily visitor numbers of more than 100,000, half of whom were young Thai people and a third foreign visitors. History MBK was the largest shopping mall in Asia when it opened in 1985. It is on land leased from the adjacent Chulalongkorn University. This lease was renewed in 2002. MBK was named after the parents of the developer Sirichai Bulakul, Mah and Boonkrong, whose statues are found on the ground floor. My Brother's Keeper Challenge is a public–private partnership of the United States federal government which promotes intervention by civic leaders in the lives of young men of color. The program was initiated in 2014 with sponsorship of the White House, the United States Department of Education, and the National Convening Council. The initiative obtained pledges by non-profit organizations of $200 million over five years. The initiative was intended to be a call to action for mayors, Native American tribal leaders, county executives, and other municipal leaders to address persistent opportunity gaps for young men of color and help them reach their potential. The partnership was expanded one year after program launch with $100 million in additional funding from private entities. Orlando Villas-Bôas Regional Airport is the airport serving Matupá, Brazil. The airport is named after the oldest of the Villas-Bôas brothers, Brazilian activists who in 1961 succeeded in getting the entire upper Xingu legally protected. MBK Entertainment (), was a South Korean entertainment company established by Kim Kwang-soo. The company was originally founded in 1999 as GM Planning. The company was absorbed by Mnet Media in 2006, following Kim Kwang-soo joint with CJ Group as their director. In 2007, the company re-launch as Core Contents Media under Mnet Media. In September 2009, Kim Kwang-soo was removed from the list as director of Mnet Media and then effectively his own company ended business with Mnet Media.
