M3 Records (formerly known as M3 Macmil Music) is an American independent hip hop record label in New York City, headed by rapper Masta Ace. The label was founded in 2003, nearly two years after Ace's former label, JCOR Records, folded. The first nationally distributed release on the label was Ace's fifth studio album '' A Long Hot Summer''. The label is now home to Ace's supergroup eMC, which also features underground duo Punch & Words and Milwaukee rapper Strick. Wordsworth (rapper)
Vinson Johnson, better known by his stage name Wordsworth, is an American rapper from Brooklyn, New York. Biography Wordsworth grew up in Brooklyn, New York. He started rapping in fifth grade. He graduated from the State University of New York at Old Westbury and the University of Miami. Wordsworth recorded with his partner Punchline on A Tribe Called Quest's ''The Love Movement'' and on Black Star's ''Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star''. He was involved in the MTV comedy sketch series ''The Lyricist Lounge Show''. He also appeared in the Kevin Fitzgerald film '' Freestyle: The Art of Rhyme''. Edward Anderson (born November 27, 1970) is a hip-hop artist from Boston, Massachusetts, better known by his stage name Edo G. Edo is the seniormost hip-hop artist from Boston (if not from anywhere in Massachusetts), in the sense that he was the first to gain recognition in New York City and in the wider United States of America, and remains one of the best-known Boston rap artist internationally, having collaborated with large numbers of independent rap artists all over the globe. ''The Show'' is the debut studio album by American hip hop supergroup eMC. It was released on March 25, 2008 via M3 Records/Traffic Entertainment Group. Production was handled by Frequency, J!, Quincy Tones, Ayatollah, The ARE, Koolade, Marco Polo and Nicolay, with DJ Rob, Filthy Rich and Masta Ace serving as executive producers.
