The M24 road is a metropolitan route in the City of Tshwane in Gauteng, South Africa. It is in the city of Centurion, connecting Valhalla with Lyttelton. Route The M24 route begins at a junction with the R55 route (Quagga Road) just south of Claudius and north of Sunderland Ridge. It begins by heading north-east as Stephanus Schoeman Road before turning to the east as Alaric Road to pass in-between the suburbs of Thaba Tshwane to the north and Valhalla to the south. It reaches a junction with Paul Kruger Road at the South African Air Force College and becomes Paul Kruger Road eastwards to cross the R101 route (Old Johannesburg Road). The Olivetti M24 is a computer that was sold by Olivetti in 1983 using the Intel 8086 CPU. The system was sold in the United States under its original name by Docutel/Olivetti of Dallas. AT&T and Xerox bought rights to rebadge the system as the AT&T PC 6300 and the Xerox 6060 series, respectively. (AT&T owned 25% of Olivetti around this time.) The AT&T 6300, launched in June 1984, was AT&T's first attempt to compete in the PC compatible market. It was also available in France as the PERSONA 1600, built by LogAbax. M-24 (Michigan Highway)
M-24 is a north–south state trunkline highway in the U.S. state of Michigan that extends through Southeast Michigan and The Thumb, from northeast Auburn Hills to Unionville. It starts at an interchange with Interstate 75 (I-75) and ends where it merges with M-25. While the M-24 designation is similar to that of US Highway 24 (US 24) which has a northern terminus located only a few miles from the southern terminus of M-24, M-24 was never part of US 24. The first M-24 in Michigan was replaced by M-20 when US 10 replaced the original M-20 in 1926. A 1936 bypass of downtown Pontiac resulted in the creation of M-24A which later became BUS M-24 in 1940. An extension in 1997 moved the northern end of M-24 northward from Caro to Unionville, replacing a section of M-138 in the process. ''M 24'' was a political movement in the People's Republic of Congo. The grouping emerged from a strike organized on March 24, 1976. The March 24 strike had demanded the rehabilitation of the Central Committee of the Congolese Party of Labour (PCT). The leaders of the strike were arrested. The name 'M 24' was accorded by the Congolese Students Association (AEC) in France in reference to the coalition who backed the March 24 strike. Leading figures of the M 24 network include Pierre Nzé (former no. 2 of PCT), Jean-Jules Okabando (former leader of the Congolese Socialist Youth Union), Anatole Khondo and Nicodème Ekamba-Elombé (trade unionists). When a new PCT Central Committee was elected in 1979, two members of the M 24 network (Nzé and Okabando) were included. The PZL M-24 Dromader Super ( Super Dromedary) is a single engine agricultural aircraft, developed in the 1980s by the WSK-Mielec (later PZL-Mielec) from the PZL-Mielec M-18 Dromader. It did not progress beyond the prototyping stage. Development The plane was developed as a bigger and more capable variant of the successful agricultural plane PZL-Mielec M-18 Dromader. Some components of the M-18 were used it its construction, but it is generally bigger and stronger, with a more powerful engine. The wings were fitted with a new central section of a larger span. The first prototype of the M-24 flew on July 20, 1987, and was powered with a Shvetsov ASh-62IR radial engine.
