M104 Railway (Croatia)
The Novska–Tovarnik railway ( hr, Pruga Novska-Tovarnik), officially designated as the M104 railway, is a long railway line in Croatia that connects Novska to the Serbian railway network east of Tovarnik, continuing to the city of Belgrade. Its route follows the Sava river valley. It is an integral part of railway Pan-European Corridor X running from Salzburg and Ljubljana towards Skopje and Thessaloniki. It is electrified and double-tracked. Until 2014, the railway was classified as M105. History It was the route of the Orient Express service from 1919 to 1977. As part of the Zagreb–Belgrade railway, electrification was finished in 1970. It was the first fully electrified line in Croatia with 25 kV 50 AC system (Zagreb-Rijeka was electrified earlier, but with older 3 kV DC system). Alternating current (AC) is an electric current which periodically reverses direction and changes its magnitude continuously with time in contrast to direct current (DC) which flows only in one direction. Orljava is a river in Slavonia, eastern Croatia, a left tributary of Sava. It is long and its basin covers an area of . Orljava rises in the mountainous forested areas of Psunj, south of Bučje. It receives influx from smaller rivers that rise in the mountains of Papuk and Požeška gora. Near Srednje Selo it starts turning southeast, and at Pleternica it merges with the river Londža that rises in Krndija. It then runs south to pass between Požeška gora and Dilj, when it turns to the southwest. D3 Road (Croatia)
D3 is a state road in western parts of Croatia connecting Rijeka on the Adriatic coast to Zagreb, Karlovac and Varaždin, as well as to Goričan border crossing to Hungary. Furthermore, the D3 road is used as a parallel road to a number of motorways in Croatia, namely the A4 motorway north of Zagreb, the A1 motorway between Zagreb and Bosiljevo 2 interchange south of Karlovac and finally the A6 motorway between Bosiljevo 2 interchange and Rijeka and it connects to nearly all motorway interchanges on that route either directly or via connecting roads. The D3 state road is concurrent in parts of its route with other state roads, most notably the D1 between Zagreb and Karlovac, as well as some sections of the A4 (south of Popovec interchange) and the A3 (between Ivanja Reka and Lučko interchanges) motorways. Našice
Našice () is a town in eastern Croatia, located on the northern slopes of the Krndija mountain in eastern Slavonia, 51 km southwest of regional hub Osijek. Administratively it belongs to Osijek-Baranja County. Geography Našice is located on the D2 state road Varaždin–Virovitica–Našice– Osijek and the Varaždin–Dalj railway.
