Müllheim (Baden) Station
Müllheim (Baden) station is a small railway junction in Müllheim in the German state of Baden-Württemberg, where the Müllheim–Mulhouse railway branches off the Mannheim–Karlsruhe–Basel railway (Rhine Valley Railway). From 1896 to 1955, the station was the terminus of the tramway-like Müllheim-Badenweiler railway. Müllheim (High Alemannic: ''Mille'') is a town in Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. It belongs to the district Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald. Müllheim is generally considered to be the center of the region known as Markgräflerland. History On October 27, 758 Strachfried gave as a gift to the monastery of St. Gallen his properties in Müllheim, including the vineyards. This deed is in the archives of St. Gallen and it is where we today can find the first written reference to the "''villa Mulinhaimo''", which is the current city of Müllheim. Archeology shows however that Müllheim was inhabited even earlier than this. During the renovation of the Martin's church in 1980 and 1981 the workers came upon a portion of a Roman villa. Neuenburg am Rhein (High Alemannic: ''Neiburg am Rhi'') is a town in the district Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald in Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. German Railway Operating Company
The German Railway Operating Company (German: ''Deutsche Eisenbahn-Betriebs-Gesellschaft'') or DEBG was a public limited company (''Aktiengesellschaft'') that was founded on 15 November 1898 in Berlin. DBAG Class 641
The DBAG Class 641 (VT641) is a class of German railway vehicle operated by Deutsche Bahn. They are diesel railcars belonging to the Alstom Coradia A TER family. Their development started as a joint project between Deutsche Bahn and SNCF, on the one hand, and the railway vehicle manufacturers De Dietrich Ferroviaire and Linke-Hofmann-Busch on the other, both being subsidiaries of Alstom. Forty units of this class were delivered to Deutsche Bahn, of which four have been retired due to accidents. The railcars are fitted with centre buffer couplings.
