Márcio Miranda Freitas Rocha da Silva (born 20 March 1981), commonly known as Marcinho, is a Brazilian Association football, football Coach (sport), coach and former player who played as either an attacking midfielder or a Forward (association football), forward. He is the current head coach of Ituano FC, Ituano. Club career Born in Campinas, Marcinho played for Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, Corinthians, Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, Palmeiras, Paulista Futebol Clube, Paulista and Associação Desportiva São Caetano, São Caetano. He was loaned to Kashima Antlers on 24 June 2008, and played for the Japanese squad until the end of the season. Marcinho signed for Clube Atlético Paranaense, Atlético Paranaense on 12 January 2009. The Brazil Olympic football team (also known as Brazil under-23, Brazil U23) represents Brazil in international football competitions during Olympic Games and Pan American Games. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série C is the third tier of the Brazilian football league system. Unlike the first and second divisions, the Série C is not played in a double round robin system, arguably because many participating teams lack the financial conditions to travel long distances. Thus, the tournament is organized in regional groups and the table prevents teams from distant states from playing each other in the initial rounds. Until 2008, any professional team could apply, but only 64 teams would take part in the tournament.
