"My Life in Four Cameras" is the 17th episode of the 4th season of the American sitcom ''Scrubs''. The episode, the series' 85th, originally aired on February 15, 2005 on NBC. Plot This episode is an homage to the traditional multi-camera sitcom, and, specifically, ''Cheers'' (which also aired on NBC). Unlike traditional sitcoms, ''Scrubs'' uses a single camera setup, no laugh track, and is not filmed before a live studio audience. During an extended dream sequence, J.D. imagines what his life would be like if it were a sitcom. This sequence was actually filmed in a multi-camera setup with a laugh track and studio audience; as well as featuring low-cut outfits for the female characters, a less realistic hospital set, brighter lighting, broader humor, a fairly contrived plot, and a guest star named Kenny ( Clay Aiken). Scrubs (TV Series)
''Scrubs'' (stylized as '' crubs') is an American sitcom created by Bill Lawrence that aired from October 2, 2001, to March 17, 2010, on NBC and later ABC. The series follows the lives of employees at the fictional Sacred Heart Hospital, which is a teaching hospital. The title is a play on surgical scrubs and a term for a low-ranking person because at the beginning of the series, most of the main characters are medical interns. The series was noted for its fast-paced slapstick and surreal vignettes presented mostly as the daydreams of the central character, John "J.D." Dorian, played by Zach Braff. Glen Gerald Charles (born February 18, 1943) and Les Charles (born March 25, 1948) are American screenwriters and television producers, best known for ''Taxi'' and '' Cheers''. Early life and careers The Charles brothers attended University of Redlands. Glen graduated in 1965, and Les graduated in 1971. Glen began his professional life as an advertising copywriter but moved into television. Both Glen and Les began their television careers together as writers for ''M*A*S*H''. "Isn't She Lovely" is a song by Stevie Wonder from his 1976 album, ''Songs in the Key of Life''. The lyrics celebrate the birth of his daughter, Aisha Morris. Wonder collaborated on the song with Harlem songwriter and studio owner Burnetta "Bunny" Jones. The song opens side 3 of ''Songs in the Key of Life'', and starts with a baby's first cry recorded during an actual childbirth. A recording of Wonder bathing Aisha as an older toddler is brought into the final section of the song, mixed with Wonder's extended chromatic harmonica solo. My Big Move
