Piotr Trzaskalski (; born February 5, 1964, in Łódź, Poland) is a Polish film director and screenwriter. Biography A graduate of the National Film School in Łódź. He is probably best known for his film '' Edi'' (2002), which won several awards at the Berlin International Film Festival (2003) in Berlin, Germany, and also won the special Audience Award at the 2003 Polish Film Awards from the Polish Academy. In 2004, he became a member of the European Film Academy. Michał Urbaniak (born January 22, 1943) is a Polish jazz musician who plays violin, lyricon, and saxophone. His music includes elements of folk music, rhythm and blues, hip hop, and symphonic music. History He was born in Warsaw, Poland. Urbaniak started his music education during high school in Łódź, Poland, and continued from 1961 in Warsaw in the violin class of Tadeusz Wroński. Learning to play on the alto saxophone alone, he first played in a Dixieland band, and later with Zbigniew Namysłowski and the Jazz Rockers, with whom he performed during the Jazz Jamboree festival in 1961. After this, he was invited to play with Andrzej Trzaskowski, and toured the United States in 1962 with the Andrzej Trzaskowski band, the Wreckers, playing at festivals and clubs in Newport, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and New York City. Artur Żmijewski (born 10 April 1966) is a Polish film and stage actor. Biography Born in Radzymin, Żmijewski graduated from the M. Konopnickiej High School in Legionowo, and then in 1990 from the Theatre Academy in Warsaw. In 1989–1991 he performed with the Contemporary Theatre (Teatr Współczesny), in 1991–1992 at the Ateneum Theatre and Theatre Scene Presentations (Teatr Scena Prezentacje), and in 1998–2010 he appeared at the National Theatre (all in Warsaw). Since 2007 he has been a national Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF. Since 2009 he has been an honorary citizen of Legionowo.
