Ryuichi Oda
Ryuichi Oda ( ja, 小田龍一, born 12 December 1976) is a Japanese professional golfer who currently competes on the Japan Golf Tour. Oda was born in Kagoshima Prefecture. He spent much of his amateur career developing his skills at the Kagoshima Country Club. He competed in two Japan Golf Tour events in 2002 ( Token Corporation Cup and Tsuruya Open) and despite missing the cut on both occasions, became a professional in time for the Fujisankei Classic where he once again failed to get past the second day. It was not until the Diamond Cup Tournament before he made his first cut, finishing T55. It was not until the 2009 Japan Open that Oda shot to fame. He only just avoided being cut after two rounds and by round three was tied for 5th place. He went on to beat Ryo Ishikawa and Yasuharu Imano in a three-man playoff. 2020–21 Japan Golf Tour
The 2020–21 Japan Golf Tour was a series of professional golf tournaments organised by the Japan Golf Tour Organization. The 2020 season was originally scheduled to be played from 16 January to 6 December 2020, and comprised 25 official money events, mostly in Japan. Other than the four majors, which are played outside Japan, there was one event in Singapore and one event in South Korea; the SMBC Singapore Open which is co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour, and the Shinhan Donghae Open which is co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the Korean Tour. Most of the scheduled tournaments were cancelled during 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic. On 25 December 2020, the tour announced the schedule for 2021 and confirmed that it would be merged with the 2020 schedule to form the 2020–21 season. Yosuke Asaji (born 24 May 1993) is a Japanese professional golfer. Professional career Asaji won the 2019 Asia-Pacific Diamond Cup Golf (a co-sanctioned event with the Asian Tour), to qualify for the 2019 Open Championship. He earned entry into that tournament through Monday qualifier. He finished the 2019 Open Championship in a tie for 67th place. Shingo Katayama ( ja, 片山 晋呉, born 31 January 1973) is a Japanese golfer. Early life and professional career Katayama was born in Chikusei, Ibaraki Prefecture. He turned professional in 1995 and has played full-time on the Japan Golf Tour since 1997. He topped the Japan Golf Tour money list five times: 2000, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2008.
