Antonio Muzzi
Antonio Muzzi (1815 – 1894) was an Italian figure and history painter, active in both Bologna and St Petersburg. He trained in the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna The Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna ("academy of fine arts of Bologna") is a public tertiary academy of fine art in Bologna, in Emilia-Romagna in northern Italy. It has a campus in Cesena. Giorgio Morandi taught engraving at the Accademia ..., and became a docent at the academy. Muzzi was commissioned by the marchese Gioacchino Pepoli to paint ''La cacciata degli austriaci da Porta Galliera l’8 agosto 1848'', which depicts a battle in which the marchese participated. ''Oreste'' ("Orestes", HWV A11, HG 48/102) is an opera by George Frideric Handel in three acts. The libretto was anonymously adapted from Giangualberto Barlocci’s ''L’Oreste'' (1723, Rome), which was in turn adapted from Euripides' ''Iphigeneia in Tauris''.Hicks The opera is a ''pasticcio'' (pastiche), meaning that the music of the arias was assembled from earlier works, mainly other operas and cantatas also by Handel. The recitatives and parts of the dances are the only parts composed specifically for this work. Handel had put together similar works before, fitting the music of pre-existent arias to new words, but this was the first time he had made an opera in this way using entirely his own music. He assembled a collection of his arias from the previous years, ranging from '' Agrippina'' of 1709 to ''Sosarme'' of 1732, binding the pre-existent music seamlessly together with the newly-written recitatives to create a new musical drama. Roberto Muzzi
Roberto Muzzi (; born 21 September 1971) is an Italian former professional football striker, currently contracted with Cagliari as a "club manager". During his career, he played for several Italian clubs including A.S. Roma, Pisa Calcio, Cagliari Calcio, Udinese Calcio, and S.S. Lazio. He was also part of the Italy U-21 team from 1990 to 1994, playing 19 matches and scoring 4 goals under manager Cesare Maldini, and winning the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in 1992 and 1994; he also took part at the 1992 Summer Olympics, although he never received a call-up for the senior Italy side.
