''Mutineers'' is the tenth studio album by English singer-songwriter David Gray, released on 17 June 2014 on IHT Records. "Back in the World" was the first single from the album. Background On 1 April 2014, the video for "Gulls" premiered on both the Myles O'Reilly website and Gray's official YouTube channel, with O'Reilly being the director. On 10 April 2014, the track "Back in the World" was uploaded onto Gray's official YouTube channel. A day later, the song was played by radio presenter Chris Evans on BBC Radio 2 for ''The Chris Evans Breakfast Show''. David Peter Gray (born 13 June 1968) is a British singer-songwriter. He released his first album in 1993 and received worldwide attention after the release of ''White Ladder'' six years later. ''White Ladder'' was the first of three UK chart-toppers in six years for Gray; it became the fifth best-selling album of the 2000s in the UK and ranked as the tenth best-selling album of the 21st century in the United Kingdom in October 2019. Folk Rock
Folk rock is a hybrid music genre that combines the elements of folk and rock music, which arose in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom in the mid-1960s. Andy Barlow (producer)
Andy Barlow is a British record producer and musician best known for his work as a founding member of the band Lamb. Biography Barlow first found fame as a member of the band Smoll Fat Child with lead guitarist Matt Goldberg. Later in life, during a hiatus from Lamb, Barlow released solo work as Hip Optimist and LOWB. His debut album as LOWB, ''Leap and the Net Will Appear'', was re-released by Distiller Records with additional tracks, new artwork and the EP ''Inward Outburst'' in 2013. LOWB performed live on BBC Radio 2's Dermot O'Leary show and at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton. The double album was released on 16 August 2010 in the United Kingdom and on the following day in the United States, by Mercer Street/Downtown Records. Caroline Dale (born 1965) is a widely recorded British cellist who currently plays principal cello for the English Chamber Orchestra and London Metropolitan Orchestra. She has also performed music for numerous films and played with a wide range of pop and rock musicians, including Joan Armatrading, Peter Gabriel, David Gilmour, David Gray, Oasis, Simply Red, Sinéad O'Connor and U2.
