The music of ''In the Groove'' includes 136 songs for arcade and home releases. A few additional songs were confirmed to be present in the now-cancelled ''In the Groove 3''. ''In the Groove'' is a series of music video games that uses a four-panel dance pad. The series was first developed by Roxor Games during a time when four-panel dance games in the arcade game, arcade market were on the decline. As of October 18, 2006, Konami (makers of ''Dance Dance Revolution'') has acquired the intellectual property rights to the series. Gameplay The gameplay mechanics of ''In the Groove'' are very similar to Konami's ''Dance Dance Revolution'' series, involving stepping in time to the general rhythm or beat of a song using a four-arrowed Dance Pad. During normal gameplay, color arrows scroll upwards from the bottom of the screen and pass over a set of gray, stationary arrows near the top (referred to as "targets"). When the scrolling arrows overlap the stationary ones, the player must step on the corresponding arrow(s) on the dance platform. Damian Hess (born December 3, 1973), better known by his stage name MC Frontalot, is an American rapper and web designer. Hess began releasing music as MC Frontalot in 1999. His first successes came through Song Fight!, an online songwriting and recording competition, where he became known for consistently beating opponents. Throughout his history at Song Fight!, he has never lost a competition as MC Frontalot, although he has entered only seven entries in that name. Hybrid (Welsh Band)
Hybrid is a British electronic music duo consisting of Mike and Charlotte Truman. The group was formed in 1995 by Mike Truman, Chris Healings, and Lee Mullin. Vanilla Ninja is an Estonian all-female rock band which enjoyed chart success in a number of countries across Europe, especially in Estonia, Germany and Austria.
