''Music in Mouth'' is the second studio album from Irish band Bell X1, released on 18 July 2003 in Ireland and on 21 July in the UK. It was produced by Jamie Cullum (the producer, not the popular jazz singer). The album contains the song, " Eve, the Apple of My Eye". The title of the album is taken from the poem "The Planters Daughter" by Irish poet Austin Clarke. Damien Rice
Damien George Rice (born 7 December 1973) is an Irish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He began his career as a member of the 1990s rock group Juniper, who were signed to Polygram Records in 1997. The band enjoyed moderate success in Ireland with two released singles, "The World is Dead" and "Weatherman". After leaving the band in 1998, Rice worked as a farmer in Tuscany and busked throughout Europe before returning to Ireland in 2001 and beginning a solo career. The rest of Juniper went on to perform under the name Bell X1. In 2002, Rice released his debut album, '' O''. Paul Noonan
Paul Anthony Noonan is a songwriter, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist from Lucan, County Dublin. He is best known as the frontman of the Irish group Bell X1 and as a solo artist and collaborator on various musical projects. Early years Born in 1974, Noonan grew up in Lucan, near the Dublin-Kildare border. At age nine, while attending St Mary's national school in Lucan, he was second flautist in the Lucan Concert Band, performing covers of works by composers such as John Barry. A visit by a drummer to rehearsal one day caused him to become fascinated by the instrument. He sold his flute and bought a drumkit with his parents' assistance. David Geraghty
David Geraghty (born 30 September 1975) is an Irish multi-instrumentalist, composer and songwriter. He is a founding member of Bell X1, and since 2014 has been performing under the moniker Join Me in the Pines. In 1994 he joined the group Juniper along with Paul Noonan, Damien Rice, Dominic Phillips and Brian Crosby. Damien Rice left Juniper in 1998 to pursue a solo career, and the remaining members reformed as Bell X1, named after the Bell X-1. Geraghty released his debut solo album '' Kill Your Darlings'' on 7 September 2007, while still a member of Bell X1. His debut earned him a nomination for the Choice Music Prize and two Meteor award nominations (Best Album and Best Male). His second solo album ''The Victory Dance'' was released in 2009, coinciding with a nationwide tour which began with a live performance at Electric Picnic in Stradbally, Co. Laois. "Eve, the Apple of My Eye" is a single by the Irish indie rock band, Bell X1, taken from the band's second album ''Music in Mouth''. It was eventually released on 11 June 2004 in Ireland and 14 June 2004 in the UK, having been originally scheduled for release on 28 May in Ireland and 7 June in the UK. It entered the Irish Singles Chart on 17 June 2004, spending two weeks there and peaking at number 18. The single included a cover of the Justin Timberlake song "Like I Love You". Outside Ireland it is best known in the United States where it featured as background music in a scene from one of their television shows, ''The O.C.'' Original "Eve" was originally written and performed when Bell X1 were Juniper (featuring Damien Rice). Bell X1 are an Irish rock band from County Kildare. ''Flock'' is the third studio album by Irish band Bell X1. It was released on 14 October 2005 in Ireland, 20 March 2006 in the UK and February 19, 2008 in North America. The album was ranked #15 in Planet Sound's top albums of 2006. ''Flock'' was Bell X1's first ever #1 album in Ireland. Three singles were released from the album in Ireland, " Bigger Than Me" (30 September 2005 in Ireland and 10 October 2005 in the UK), "Flame" (16 March 2006) and " Rocky Took a Lover", which was eventually released on 28 August 2006 after gaining cult popularity from radio airplay.
