Murr TV
Murr Television, marketed and known as MTV Lebanon, is a Lebanese television station based in Naccache, Metn District. History Founded in 1991 by Gabriel Murr, a Lebanese businessman and politician. MTV was shut down in 2002 as it was found guilty of violating article 68 of the electoral law of 1999 which bans propaganda during the election process but, since other Lebanese channels did not comply with the law either, some observers suspect that the closure was due to MTV’s criticism of the Lebanese government and of Syria. As well as lawsuit againt MTV In 2005, the Lebanese parliament decided to amend article 68 and reopen the station after the Syrian troops withdrew from Lebanon and the anti-Syrian opposition coalition won a majority in Lebanon’s parliament, but the station remained closed. High-definition television (HD or HDTV) describes a television system which provides a substantially higher image resolution than the previous generation of technologies. The term has been used since 1936; in more recent times, it refers to the generation following standard-definition television (SDTV), often abbreviated to HDTV or HD-TV. ' (TPMP), literally "Don't Touch My TV Set!", is a French live television talk show. It is broadcast on C8 (French TV channel), C8 and produced by Productions. The show, hosted by Cyril Hanouna, deals with media news; it is broadcast from Monday to Friday at 8:30 p.m. History Hanouna created " Productions" in March 2010 to produce his own TV program. ''Everybody's Equal'' is a game show that originally aired on ITV (TV network), ITV from 7 June 1989 to 22 July 1991 and hosted by Chris Tarrant. It was later revived under the name ''Whittle'' and aired on Channel 5 (UK), Channel 5 from 31 March to 30 December 1997 with Tim Vine as host. Versions also existed in many European countries, plus Canada. Elements of the show resemble Tarrant's future hit ''Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? ''Chance of a Lifetime'' is an American television competitive talent show that began on ABC on September 6, 1950, and aired on ABC and DuMont between 1952 and 1956. Format Three professional performers, usually singers, dancers or instrumentalists, competed. In the early version of the show, there were four contestants with the winner chosen by votes tallied by attendants in the audience. In the later version, the winner of the first half, determined by an audience applause meter, then competed against a returning champion in the second half. ''SlideShow'' was an Australian light entertainment game show television series hosted by Grant Denyer, which first screened on the Seven Network on 7 August 2013. ''SlideShow'' was based on a French program '' Vendredi Tout est Permis Avec Arthur''.
