Munster Under-20 Football Championship
The Munster GAA Football Under-20 Championship, known simply as the Munster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county Gaelic football competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county football competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Munster. The championship was contested as the Munster Under-21 Championship between 1962 and 2016 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2018. It is sponsored by EirGrid. The final, currently held in March, serves as the culmination of a series of games played during a three-week period, and the results determine which team receives the Corn na Cásca. The championship has always been played on a straight knockout basis whereby once a team loses they are eliminated from the championship. 2022 All-Ireland Under-20 Football Championship
The 2022 All-Ireland Under-20 Football Championship was the fifth staging of the All-Ireland Under-20 Football Championship, All-Ireland Under-20 Championship and the 59th staging overall of a Gaelic football championship for players between the All-Ireland Minor Football Championship, minor and All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, senior grades. The championship began on 25 March and ended on 14 May 2022. Offaly county football team, Offaly were the 2021 All-Ireland Under-20 Football Championship, defending champions, however they were beaten by Kildare county football team, Kildare in the Leinster semi-final. The final took place on 14 May 2022, between Kildare and Tyrone county football team, Tyrone. Tyrone won the match by 1–20 to 1–14 to win their sixth title and their first since 2015 All-Ireland Under-21 Football Championship, 2015.
