Mura Statistical Region
The Mura Statistical Region ( sl, Pomurska statistična regija) is a statistical region in northeast Slovenia. It is predominantly agricultural with field crops representing over three-quarters of the total agricultural area (twice as much as the Slovene average). Climate and soil combined have made it the region with the highest crop production, but its geographical position and inferior infrastructure put it at a disadvantage and it is the region of Slovenia with the lowest GDP per capita (EUR 12,267) and the highest rate of registered unemployment. Štrigova
Štrigova (german: Stridau; hu, Stridóvár) is a village and municipality in Međimurje County, in northern Croatia. History Oldest archaeological finds in Štrigova municipality are from Roman period. Burial mounds and fragments of pottery were found in the hamlet of Trnovčak. Fragments of the roman roads were found at the same locality. The settlement Štrigova is first time mentioned in 1271 as ''Castr. Strigo'' (English: ''Fort Strigo''). During that time fort was in possession of Arnold of Stridó. Zala County
