Multikulturhaus
The Multikulturhaus in Neu-Ulm was a cultural centre run by the ''Multikulturhaus e. V.'', a Registered association (Germany), registered association. On 28 December 2005 it was shut down by the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior. The land, the building and monetary funds were confiscated by authorities. The institution was suspected of Islamist leanings and inciting murder of Jews and Christians and glorifying Shahid, martyrdom. Islamic preachers have incited to jihad (holy war). By people formerly in leading positions at the centre, authorities found manuals for manufacturing explosives. Closure According to Günther Beckstein, then interior minister of Bavaria: "organisations which in an aggressive manner counteracts the constitutional order openly encourage violence towards that end are not tolerated here". Neu-Ulm
Neu-Ulm ( Swabian: ''Nej-Ulm'') is the capital of the Neu-Ulm district and a town in Swabia, Bavaria. Neighbouring towns include Ulm, Senden, Pfaffenhofen an der Roth, Holzheim, Nersingen and Elchingen. The population is 58,978 (31 December 2019). ''Shaheed'' ( , , ; pa, ਸ਼ਹੀਦ) denotes a martyr in Islam. The word is used frequently in the Quran in the generic sense of "witness" but only once in the sense of "martyr" (i.e. one who dies for his faith); the latter sense acquires wider usage in the ''hadith''. Günther Beckstein () (born 23 November 1943) is a German CSU politician from Bavaria and was the 17th Minister President of Bavaria from 9 October 2007 to 27 October 2008. He is well known for his outspoken views on law and order. Biography Beckstein was born in Hersbruck. After graduating from High School at the '' Willstätter- Gymnasium'' in Nuremberg in 1962, he studied law at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. He holds a Ph.D. from Erlangen-Nürnberg University. Reda Seyam, also known as Ghana Prakesh or Gnanavel (the one with two horns), was a German-Egyptian Islamic militant and an official in the Islamic State (IS). Khaled El-Masri (also Khalid El-Masri and Khaled Masri, Levantine Arabic pronunciation: , ar, خالد المصري) (born 29 June 1963) is a German and Lebanese citizen who was mistakenly abducted by the Macedonian police in 2003, and handed over to the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
