Muhammad Abdul Aleem Siddiqi
Muhammad Abdul Aleem Siddiqi (3 April 1892 – 22 August 1954) was an Islamic scholar, spiritual master, author and preacher from Pakistan. He was a student of Imam of Ahlus Sunnah Imam Ahmad Raza Khan Muhaddith barelwi Rahimahullah. He was leader of the All Malaya Muslim Missionary Society, Singapore (now known as Jamiyah Singapore). Life Siddiqi was born on 3 April 1892 in Meerut and was descendant of Abu Bakr. It is said that he had memorized the Quran by the age of four, and obtained a degree in Islamic theology at the age of 16. He learned the natural and social sciences. Missionary activities Siddique traveled extensively overseas for 40 years to preach and propagate Islam. He advocated inter-religious harmony and spread message of peace and came to seem by some people as a Roving Ambassador of Peace. In 1930 he went to Singapore as a missionary. Mohammad Isa bin Abdul Halim (born 15 May 1986) is a former Singapore international footballer who last played as a defensive-midfielder for Singapore Premier League club Geylang International FC and the Singapore national team. Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar (born 11 December 1956) is a Nigerian politician who served as governor of Bauchi State from 2015 to 2019. He is popularly known as Makama Baba and Garzali. He began his career in the Civil Service where he rose through the ranks to become the Bauchi State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice. Mohamed Abdulkhalek El Sayed ( ar, محمد عبد الخالق السيد) (28 October 1898 – 20 January 1992) was an Egyptian diplomat who served as the second Secretary-General of the Arab League Life and career Born in Cairo in 1898, Abdel-Khalek Hassouna was the grandson of Al-Azhar Grand Sheikh Hassouna El-Nawawi. Mohammed Abdul-Hayy or Muhammad Abd al-Hayy (1 January 1944 – 23 August 1989, Ad-Damir, Sudan) was a member of the first generation of post-colonial Sudanese writers and academics. Together with Ali El-Mak and Salah Ahmed Ibrahim, he is regarded as a pioneer of modern poetry in Sudan. Early life Abdul-Hayy was born in Ad-Damir on 1 January 1944. His father worked as an architect, and his mother was the daughter of an architect. Abdul-Hayy accompanied his father on his travels, which provided him with an understanding of the diverse and multiracial culture of Sudan. These experiences later had a great influence on his poetry, which focuses on the question of identity in Sudan. Mohammad Abdul-Wali
Mohammad Abdul-Wali, (1940–1973) was a Yemeni diplomat and a prominent Yemeni writer of Ethiopian descent, and one of the earliest authors in Yemen to adopt writing for artistic purposes rather than for nationalist agendas. Life Abdul-Wali was born in Ethiopia. His mother was Ethiopian and his father had emigrated from northern Yemen. In 1955, Abdul-Wali began his studies at the university of Cairo, where he got interested in Marxism. He was expelled from Egypt, and after a brief period in Yemen he moved to Moscow, where he learnt Russian and studied literature at the Gorky Institute. After finishing his studies in 1962, he returned to North Yemen, which just had won its independence. He was enrolled in the young country's diplomatic corps and became chargé d'affaires first in Moscow and later in Berlin. Mohammad Abdus Sattar (1925 – 23 April 2011) was an Indian footballer. He was also known as Madar Abdus Sattar. Career Club career Abdus Sattar started his career with the Bangalore Muslim Club, before joining the Mohammedan Sporting Club in 1949. He signed for Mohun Bagan in 1950, winning the 1955 Rovers Cup with them. International career After winning the 1951 Asian Games, Abdus Sattar went on to play one match at 1952 Summer Olympics. Later life and death After retiring from playing, Sattar coached Mohammedan Sporting Club and under his coaching, Mohammedan won the Calcutta Football League in 1981, which is also their last CFL title until date. Mohammad Abdur Razzaque (born 1 February 1950) is a Bangladeshi politician and the incumbent Minister of Agriculture. He is also the incumbent Jatiya Sangsad member representing Tangail-1 constituency since 2001. Mohammad Abdur Rab, Bir Uttom ( bn, মোহাম্মদ আব্দুর রব) (1919 – 1975) also known as M A Rab, was the first Chief of Staff of the Bangladesh Army from 10 April 1971 till 6 April 1972. Early life Abdur-Rab was born at village of Khagaura under Baniachong of Habiganj in 1919. A lifelong bachelor, he was elected as lawmaker from the Jatiya Sangsad constituency comprising Baniachang and Ajmiriganj thanas. Death Abdur-Rab died 14 November 1975 at the Combined Military Hospital, Dhaka at age 56. He had been suffering from ailments including anemia. He was laid to rest at his village of khagaura on the banks of Khowai River in Habiganj. His younger brother Abdur Rahim said that no pension was paid to any of his family members.
