Shakila Qureshi, also spelled as Shakeela Qureshi, is a former Pakistani TV and film actress from the era of 1980s and 1990s. Her notable films include '' Mr. 420'' (1992) and ''Mr. Charlie'' (1993). She received the best TV actress Nigar Award in 1989. Early life Shakila was interested in acting from a young then she went to Lahore and from there she made her debut in a PTV drama. Umer Shareef
Mohammad Umer (19 April 1960 – 2 October 2021), known professionally as Umer Shareef, was a Pakistani actor, comedian, director, producer, and television personality. Early life Mohammad Umer was born on 19 April 1960, into an Urdu speaking family in Liaquatabad, Karachi. Career Stage work In 1974, Umer started his career from Karachi as a stage performer at the age of 19. He joined theatre, using the stage name Umer Zarif but later renamed that to Umer Sharif. Some of his extremely popular comedy stage plays were 1989's ''Bakra Qistoon Pe'' and ''Buddha Ghar Pe Ha.'' Sharif became a very popular star during this period. Afzaal Ahmad ( died 2 December 2022) was a Pakistani actor. He came into limelight with his roles in the following movies: International Gorillay, Aakhri Muqabala and London. Life and career Afzaal Ahmad had over four decades of an acting career. He started in the 1970s by featuring in Dhiyan Namanian. Over the years he featured in over two hundred movies that cut across Urdu, Punjabi and Pashto. On 2 December 2022, Ahmad died at Lahore General Hospital after suffering from a brain haemorrhage. Kamal Ahmed (20 April 1937 – 6 June 1993), was a Pakistani film music director. He has the second-highest number of film scores of more than 100 Urdu movies, after M. Ashraf who did more than 250 Urdu movies as a music director. Kamal won 6 Best Musician Nigar Awards during his long film career. The Nigar Awards ( ur, , translit=Inʿām Negār, lit=Picture Awards) were presented in an annual award show to recognize outstanding achievement in Pakistani cinema. The honors are awarded by Nigar Magazine founded in 1948. The Nigar Awards are Pakistan's version of the Academy Awards. The annual presentation ceremony features performances by prominent artists. The first Nigar Awards ceremony was held in 1957, to honor the accomplishments of Pakistani cinema for the year 1956.
